Look at a local or national print or online edition of a recent newspaper or newsmagazine.
Make a list of three national and three local issues about which you are concerned.
From these six, select three that seem most important to you and write each as a question with a yes or no answer.
Bring the list and the questions to class on Thursday Dec. 13th for whole class discussion.
An example is attached.
